Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter
- 8 seasonal apples, cored and chopped (More or less, depending on what apple you have from the Farmer’s Market)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- Pinch of Kosher Salt
Instructions
- 1. Melt butter in a large, heavy skillet over medium heat. (Make sure not to burn the butter. If you do, clean out the pan and start over.) Add apples, salt, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sauté in hot butter until tender and golden, 10 to 15 minutes.
- Serving tip: They can top a pork chop or vanilla ice cream. They can also be eaten on their own.
