Market organizers urge shoppers to follow these rules and recommendations to ensure everyone’s health and safety. Customers who are uncomfortable visiting the Market in person can shop many of their favorite vendors in other ways. Click HERE for vendor listing with additional options to shop.

  • The first hour of the market (both on Saturdays in the Old Market and Sundays at Baxter Arena) is intended for seniors, people with underlying health conditions, and expectant mothers. On Saturday in the Old Market, that hour is from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. On Sunday at Baxter Arena, that hour is from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. With that said, we recommend that seniors, those with underlying health conditions, and expectant mothers shop the Old Market location on Saturdays. The Old Market is less crowded and allows staff to organize a separate entrance line for seniors and other vulnerable populations during the first hour if needed.
  • Shoppers are highly encouraged to wear masks. Need a mask, just ask! Masks are available at the information booth.
  • If the market becomes crowded, the staff will create a line for customers and monitor how many customers are in the market at one time.
  • Please practice social distancing. Please stay 6 feet apart at all times!
  • Pre-purchase items from vendors if possible. Click HERE for vendor listing and additional ways to purchase from vendors.
  • Customers are encouraged not to use reusable bags since they are considered a potential source of contamination. They are often used in multiple places where they can be contaminated. It is to keep produce safe and also limit the potential spread to surfaces, hands, etc.
  • Customers are encouraged to send one person per family if possible. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Don’t handle any products before purchase. Look with your eyes, not with your hands. Thoroughly wash produce before consumption.
  • All vendors are required to wear a mask during market hours and have a handwashing station at their booth.
  • All customers should avoid touching their face
  • All customers must stay home if they are sick
